Let’s Do This Again

Every year in America, we celebrate on July 4. We never say, “That again?” because it doesn’t get old. We love our country, and we want some time to celebrate the liberty, freedom, and opportunities we have. Not because America is perfect, but because we love our country despite her imperfections.

Each summer at Trinity, we’ve taken a look back at the sermon series from the prior year and asked, “What do we want to hear again? What do we want more of?” This Sunday is the chance to hear some of your favorite concepts again but in new ways. It will be a celebration of sorts. A way to remember what we’ve learned, what challenged us, and what we still need to do in order to love one another to Christ.

My deepest hope is that you won’t say, “That again?” but instead will celebrate the freedom we find in the gospel to go forth and live lives of abundance.

I can’t wait to see you (and your guests) Sunday. Have a great weekend celebrating the 250th birthday of America and in case no one has told you today: “God loves you. (and so do I)”
