Heaven’s doors are no longer closed.

Picture a door. Not one you have to knock on and hope someone answers. A door standing wide open, with light pouring out and a voice calling your name.

That’s what happened the day Jesus stepped into the Jordan River. Heaven didn’t crack open a little. It tore wide open. And here’s the part I can’t wait to share with you this Sunday: that same door is still open today.

Our next message, “Heaven Opened,” dives into Matthew 3:13-17. We’ll unpack the moment the Spirit came down, the sky split, and God spoke four words that change everything: “You are my beloved.”

What does it mean to be called beloved by God? Not for what you do. Not for what you fix or achieve. Just for who you are. That’s the question we’re wrestling with together.

Along the way, we’ll explore:

  • Two surprising people in Scripture who saw heaven open when they least expected it
  • What science tells us happens in our brains and bodies during moments bigger than ourselves
  • A simple, practical way to connect with God every single day

Whether you were baptized as a baby, baptized last month, or you’re still wondering what baptism even means, this one is for you. Young or old. Whatever your story. Wherever you’ve been. There’s a place for you at this table.

Come see for yourself. Bring a friend. Remember your baptism, and hear your name spoken again: beloved.

Join us this Sunday. The door is open.
