One of our Bible studies has been looking at the Essentials of Faith over the past seven weeks. As part of their work, they came up with an original creed. I believe this creed shows the heart of Trinity United Methodist. As we enters this season of Lent, I want to encourage you to print this out and read over these words each day. May they bless you deeply!
We believe in God the Creator
Who has loved, still loves, and always will love.
We believe in Jesus as our Savior.
The incarnation of love
Who taught us how to love
We believe in the Holy Spirit
The breath of God indwelling in us
and advocating for love.
We believe the church exists for worship, fellowship, and service because of God’s great love for us.
See you Sunday at 11am where we will feast spiritually on the abundance of love.
