Feasts of the Bible

Ready to Feast this Lent?

Usually when we think of Lent, we think about giving things up—chocolate, social media, that second cup of coffee. But this season, I want to invite you to do something different.

I want you to feast.

This Sunday, we kicked off a brand-new series called “Feasts of the Bible” It sounds a bit contradictory, right? Feasting in a time when you fast or give things up? But that’s exactly where God does His best work.

Why Biblical Feasts?

We’re going way back to the ancient rhythms of our faith. We’re digging into the feasts of Tabernacles, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Trumpets, and Weeks.

These aren’t just dusty history lessons. They are vibrant, action-packed celebrations that teach us how to spot God’s provision when life feels dry. They show us how to celebrate even when we’re still waiting on the promise.

What We’ll Discover Together

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to:

  • Pause and Listen: Just like the Feast of Trumpets, we need a wake-up call to refocus our hearts.
  • Remember the Journey: We’ll look at how the Feast of Tabernacles reminds us that even in temporary seasons, God is our shelter.
  • Give Our Best: We’ll explore the radical generosity of First Fruits.
  • Build Community: We’ll see how the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) proves we aren’t meant to do this faith walk alone.

Join the Feast

This series is going to challenge the way we see Lent. It’s not just about fasting; it’s about preparing our hearts for the ultimate celebration—Easter Sunday.

We need you there. We need your energy, your story, and your presence. Let’s turn our wilderness moments into a table of thanksgiving.

Join us this Sunday at Trinity UMC. Let’s get hungry for what God is doing!
