Years ago, a few people shared a YouTube channel devoted to minimalism. At first I thought it was just a gimmick. But as I began to watch and read more, I discovered there is something to be said for making our lives simpler… being able to cut through all the physical, digital, and mental clutter that seems to accumulate exponentially over the years.
All of that clutter adds up and affects us spiritually. It causes us to live differently, and not always in a good way. It distracts us from living our or mission to love one another to Christ.
This Sunday will be the second in a sermon series on generosity, and we will look at how simplicity in our finances allows us to live more generously.
I hope to see you there! It will be a great message to invite your friends and neighbors to (oh and they can stay for lunch!!!).

P.S. – I mentioned Adam Grant last Sunday. You can watch his TED Talk on givers, takers, and matchers here.
