What an incredible journey we’ve been on together this month. Our “Faith of a Mockingbird” series has pushed us to look at our community, our faith, and ourselves in a brand new light. I have loved walking through these stories with you.
We’ve seen the world through Scout’s curious eyes, stood firm with Atticus’s quiet integrity, and wrestled with the cry for justice in Tom Robinson’s story. We’ve talked about faith, justice, and what it truly means to be a community that shows up for each other.
Now, it’s time for the final chapter.
This week, we’re looking at the person we feared the most: Boo Radley. We’ll explore the surprising power of quiet compassion and the grace that shows up when we least expect it. This is our chance to talk about one of the most important things we can do as a church: welcoming everyone.
- How do we move past gossip and fear?
- How do we see the person, not the label?
- How can we be a place where everyone feels safe and seen?
This series has been about transforming our faith into action. It all comes together this Sunday. You won’t want to miss how this powerful story concludes. Let’s finish this journey together and discover how to truly love our neighbors—all of them.
