Do you hide people on social media? Do you change the channel when a political ad comes on? How many times a week do you delete a text and report it as junk? Are you anxious about this election? Is it possible to have peace during this election season?
Our God is bigger than this election; so hear me when I say that YES this IS possible.
But it’s not gonna be easy.
This divisiveness isn’t new but its never been magnified in quite this manner.
Sunday I will tackle how to keep peace in your soul during this season. This won’t be a sermon about the election. I won’t talk about the left or the right. I won’t tell you who to vote for. But this will be a sermon about how to respond to the world around us that is bombarding us with messages.
That being said…I won’t shy away from stepping on toes (mine included). We can do better in our response. My goal is to give you the tools I know of that can help you do so in a way that feeds your soul and honors God.
