Confronting Controversy

The Trinity School started back this week and it has made my week so much better. There is a lot of life in the building when the kids and teachers are here. Most of the teachers will tell you this: glitter is evil. They love the idea of glitter. They may love glittery things. But glitter always tempts us but never makes us whole.

Making decisions can be challenging. At times we suffer from decision fatigue that can lead to mental and spiritual drain. It’s hard to know, at times, what to believe. How can we make the decisions that God wants when there are so many decisions to make that were never a possibility during Biblical times?

Well I have good news for you. As United Methodists we have a tool at our disposal that can help us make these types of decisions. It may not be perfect but it can help when we are faced with controversial topics. Want to know what it is???
